In line with the updated AHPRA guidelines, we must publish information about the potential risks associated with cosmetic and laser treatments. All treatments carry risks, and these are discussed in depth during a consultation.
The employees of Model Skin are either registered health care professionals or qualified Dermal Therapists, and each hold their full Queensland Laser License. Our premises is local council approved for Skin Penetration and our laser room is certified. Our laser undergoes monthly and yearly maintenace checks and we regularly review safety protocols. Our team undergo regular training to manage adverse reactions.
Below are some of the risks associated with cosmetic, laser and skin treatments. This list is not exhaustive and not all risks will apply to every treatment.
